What you control

Build Your VPS Your Way

Root access is the difference between a hosting account and a server. Here is what that actually buys you.

  • Full root access

Install, configure and restart whatever your application needs.

  • Your own stack

Nothing is pre-decided for you the way it is on a hosting account.

  • Resize as you grow

Change plan from your dashboard and pay the difference.

  • Managed billing

Invoices, renewals and cancellation all run through your account.

Perfect for

Perfect for Every Workload

  • WordPress sites

Room for a busy site that has outgrown shared hosting.

  • E-commerce

Dedicated resources for a store that cannot slow down.

  • SaaS & web apps

Run your own runtime, your own versions, your own services.

  • Developer projects

Full control and a clean machine to build on.

  • Agencies

Host several client projects on one server you administer.

  • High-traffic sites

Up to 16 vCPU and 32 GB RAM on the largest plan here.

Why choose ServerNeed

Why Choose ServerNeed VPS?

  • Root, not a control panel

A hosting account hands you cPanel. A VPS hands you the machine.

  • SSD and AMD, stated

Every one of these plans names its storage medium and CPU vendor in the catalogue.

  • Shared or dedicated cores

Both are sold, both are labelled, and the table says which is which.

  • 24/7 expert support

Ticket, email and phone, tracked in your account.

Simple process

How VPS Hosting Works

  1. 1

    Choose a plan

Pick the vCPU and RAM your workload needs — the table above lists both for every plan.

  2. 2

    Order and pay

Your price is re-checked against our billing system at checkout before anything is charged.

  3. 3

    We provision it

Your server is set up and the access details arrive in your account.

  4. 4

    Take root and build

Install your stack, deploy, and move up a plan from your dashboard when you outgrow it.

Pick the right one

Hosting, VPS or Dedicated?

The honest version, so you buy the right one.

  • Shared / Cloud hosting

A cPanel account on a managed machine. Cheaper, and nothing to administer.

    Hosting plans →
  • VPS

A virtual server with root access, shared or dedicated cores, and no server to buy. This page.

  • Dedicated server

A whole physical machine, configured to order, when a virtual one is not enough.

Frequently asked questions

VPS Hosting FAQ

  • What is VPS hosting?

A virtual server of your own on shared physical hardware. Unlike a hosting account you get root access, so the operating system and everything installed on it are yours to configure — and the CPU and memory on your plan are allocated to your server rather than pooled across everyone on the machine.

  • Do I get full root access?

Yes. Root access is what separates these plans from our hosting accounts, and it is included on every one of them.

  • What is the difference between shared and dedicated vCPU?

On a shared-vCPU plan your cores are scheduled alongside other servers on the same host; on a dedicated-vCPU plan they are reserved for you. Both are sold here — five plans share and three are dedicated — and the comparison table above marks each one rather than leaving you to guess from the name.

  • Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes. Open the service in your dashboard and choose Upgrade / Downgrade — you are billed the difference rather than starting again.

  • Which operating systems can I run?

We do not publish an OS list, so this page will not give you one — and a list that turned out to be wrong is worse than no list. Open a ticket with the OS and version you need and we will confirm it before you order.

  • Is cPanel included?

Every one of these plans names cPanel in its catalogue entry, but the licence terms and who installs it are not something this page can state precisely. Ask us before you order if cPanel is the reason you are buying.

  • Are backups included?

None of these plans states a backup schedule, so this page does not promise one — unlike our hosting plans, which do state theirs. On a VPS with root access you can run your own, and we can tell you what else is possible if you ask.

  • How am I billed?

Monthly for seven of the eight plans; Basic also has yearly, 2-year and 3-year terms. Your price is confirmed again by our billing system at checkout, in your account's billing currency.
